The General Fraternity has made resources available which will allow alumni chapters to have an even broader channel of professional and targeted communication to its members.
Sigma Chi has partnered with the Chapter Communications Company to offer FREE web sites to every single alumni chapter. Each alumni chapter will be able to format and uniquely design a number of features offered by Chapter Communications. Services offered will include options such as online dues collection, member update applications, and chapter and general fraternity calendar updates to name a few.
Currently we are still working with many of the chapters to get them their new web sites. In a new effort, over the past months, there have been about 20 more sign up, so please contact today so we can help you set up your FREE web site!
If you or your alumni chapter would like to begin taking advantage of this great tool funded 100% by the General Fraternity, then please contact Director of Alumni Services Michael McFadden at mike.mcfadden@sigmachi.org or simply follow the steps listed below.
4 EASY STEPS TO BUILDING YOUR WEB SITE:
Contact – To get the ball rolling, contact Josh Terhune at 816.261.4684 or josh@chaptercommunications.com. hE will be able to answer any questions you have about the web sites, give you a live online demonstration and send you the web site order form.
Order – Once you have the order form, fill it out to the best of your ability, then send to sigmachi@chaptercommunications.com.
Build – This is the time when your site is being built. Once they have your order form, it will take them 10 working days (2 weeks) to complete the site.
Launch – When your site is finished, we will make it live online and send you a Site Live letter. It is at this time, where we schedule a walkthrough with the administrators of the site. From this point on, feel free to contact Chapter Communications as frequently as you like with any questions you have about the site, instructions on how to use the site or changes you would like to see happen.
